Tom Glatt
President, Glatt Consulting Group.
Tom Glatt is the President and Founder of Glatt Consulting Group, Inc. With three decades of hands-on experience, Tom is a leading expert on the critical intersection of strategy, performance, and governance. Managing a select number of high-touch engagements to prioritize depth over volume, he has guided leadership teams at institutions ranging from $6 million to $50 billion in assets through their most complex challenges.
To help credit unions break free from stagnant planning and drive true adaptive velocity, Tom architected The Living Playbook Series. This proprietary suite of frameworks is designed to move organizations beyond outdated, static models and embrace a dynamic approach to the future:
- Living Strategy: A dynamic approach that integrates the Business Model Canvas, Environmental Scenario Planning, and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to replace the static "plan-on-a-shelf."
- Living System: A proactive governance operating system that transforms the boardroom from a rear-view mirror into a forward-looking strategic asset.
- Living Leadership: A precise diagnostic framework utilizing the Risk Type Compass and EQ-i 2.0 to map the internal architecture of your executives, ensuring your leadership ecosystem has the adaptive capacity to execute your strategy.
Certified as a practitioner in both the Risk Type Compass (RTC) and the EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Quotient Inventory), Tom integrates psychometric depth into his work on CEO succession, leadership development, and board dynamics. This unique approach helps organizations successfully navigate the complex "human systems" that drive long-term success.
His commitment to the cooperative model extends globally. Tom serves as a Committee Member (Director) for the Galway United Friends Co-op in Ireland, the democratic body governing the Galway United Football Club. This international governance experience reinforces his belief that the cooperative spirit is a powerful, worldwide engine for community impact.
Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, Tom’s passion for resilience is also deeply personal. An avid mountaineer, he summited Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Mitchell (the highest peak in the eastern U.S.) in 2022, and completed a demanding trek to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathar in May 2026. This dedication to overcoming monumental challenges is deeply woven into the strategies he designs for his clients.
